We’ve been busy, just not with writing blog posts. We purchased and picked up a boat, the Ithaka. In late June, we did a 3-day training camp on Jordan Lake in North Carolina, where we spent a total of 15 hours on the boat. We rowed, figured out the autopilot and water maker. We got in and out of the boat unassisted. We deployed and retrieved the para-anchor. We learned how to hand and foot steer. We ate lunch and took a nap.

We got our first sponsor. Thank you Briggs Engineering! We have room for many more.
Now, we are trying to organized to make the most of our first expedition in the Atlantic Ocean in August.
